Crvena Jabuka is a pop rock band that originated in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, but is based in Zagreb, Croatia since the beginning of the Siege of Sarajevo.

In former Yugoslavia they were one of the most successful and productive bands.

Crvena Jabuka, which means "Red Apple", was founded in 1985. The first album is issued in 1986, and was an instant success. The band quickly gained popularity all over former Yugoslavia.

During the the '90s, due to war erupting in their native city, the band relocated to Zagreb, Croatia.

The City of Sarajevo (and partners: Sarajevo Canton, the Tourist Association of Sarajevo Canton and municipalities) will be organizing its first three-day outdoor celebration to ring in the New Year.

Locals and visitors can enjoy concerts by young Sarajevan bands and students from the Sarajevo Music Academy (Dec. 30), they can say goodbye to 2017 with a concert by the legendary Zdravko Čolić (Dec. 31) and attend a concert by the outstanding Crvena Jabuka (Jan. 1).
