The Austrian Embassy in Sarajevo, the City of Sarajevo and the City of Vienna, along with their partners and sponsors, will be organizing the First Austrian Ball in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The dance will be held on May 20 at Sarajevo Vijećnica and will get underway at 8:30 p.m.
The First Austrian Ball in Sarajevo, the first event of its kind to be held here in the city, is dedicated to dance and the friendship between the capital cities of Austria and BiH, Vienna and Sarajevo, respectively.
The highlight of the event is the participation of the Vienna Opera Ball Orchestra, which will be performing for the first time in Sarajevo. The program will include many performances and events, most of which will deal largely with dance.
The ball will open under the expert leadership of Maestro Heinrich Heidenreich from Vienna, who has choreographed many Viennese balls, as well as Vedran Marčeta, owner of the Aster Dance Club in Sarajevo.
On the night of May 20 Vijećnica will be a place where important cultural, business, political and humanitarian representatives from both of our countries will come together, along with friends of BiH.
The program will include a raffle, with proceeds going to charity.
