The first section of the A Transversal, the road that will connect the northern and southern extents of Sarajevo Canton, has been asphalted and the entire road should be completed by June.
The first section has four lanes that stretch for about 650 meters. Horizontal signaling has been completed and work on the pedestrian and bike lanes is currently underway. Construction is being done from the point where it joins the #12 Transversal up to the bridge in Dobrinja that crosses the Miljacka River.
There are also plans to build a 500-meter-long lane that will take in the roundabout below the site of the Children’s Village in Mojmilo.
