The start of the winter and ski season on Jahorina

The winter tourist season will officially get underway at Jahorina Olympic Center on December 12, 2015. The opening event will include a DJ program, as well as a performance by the Serbian band, Beogradski Sindikat, and will run from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. These music events will be held at Košuta Hotel near the six-seater lift area, Ogorjelica I.

The band Regina, will be performing at Bistrica, a club located in the hotel of the same name. Their concert will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and they will be using this opportunity to promote their album, Live, (based on the concert given in Sarajevo in July 2015), as well as the autobiographical book about the band written by Aleksandar Čović, along with other members of the group. Entry is free for those visiting Bistrica Club and copies of the book and the Regina CD will be made available as gifts.

Bistrica Hotel will be offering special rates from December 10, 2015 to December 13, 2015:

Overnight stay (breakfast included): 33.00 KM + 2.50 KM accommodation tax (BTO)
Additional cost for lunch: 10.00 KM
Additional cost for dinner: 10.00 KM

The Olympic Center “Jahorina” will be kicking off the ski season on Mt. Jahorina as it marks the official opening of the winter tourist season.

The Poljice Ski Lift will be in service for skiers and snowboarders from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and ski passes cost 15KM for adults and 12KM for children.

In addition to the Poljice Lift, there is also the six-seater Ogorjelica Lift, perfect for those who love to take in panoramic views. Tickets for the six-seater cost 7KM and it runs from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
