Aleksandar Radunović’s drama uncompromisingly deconstructs the notion of family. A man, within his own incapability to overcome the transitional approach to society, is unable to become a true “I”, an authentic person in the basic community.

To accept the other, the one with whom he should form the core cell of the society, which as such is not intended for destruction but creation. We want to get reborn over and over again.

That desire is, however, articulated in the stream of destruction of everything human – which we generally take as positive, as the fundamental value of man’s existence. We get reborn for each scene. But evil also gets born with us, within society’s womb. It is always the other person who is responsible and that person must suffer.

Now, with respect to this drama and performance, we would like to laugh at all it all. We say theater should be funny. We want to laugh at others, to say that we are not them, they are the others. Tradition, society, state, public space, all have entered the intimacy making it also public. Where as new generations are suffering, over and over. Instead of the image of the future, a fruitful concept of life, the only thing left for them is to look for a decent grave… however, if nothing else, a man is able to curse, put his hands in his pockets and move on whistling… I guess.
