Red Bull Home Run

The Red Bull Home Run, a massive downhill race for skiers and snowboarders, will be held on Mt. Jahorina on Feb 24.

It marks the third year that this sporting and entertainment event has been held on Jahorina and it has become synonymous with a good time, not just for the participants, but also for visitors.

At the start of the race, participants need to run 150 meters to reach their skis or snowboards and then they can head down the slope. There are three different categories: Best Skier, Best Snowboarder and Craziest Costume, and winners can expect great prizes.

Anyone wishing to participate must register at the Red Bull Tent by 1 p.m. on the day of the race. Contestants must also have their own helmets and race numbers. Amateurs and enthusiasts may also sign up, regardless of gender.

The organizers remind everyone that any form of physical contact during the race will result in disqualification and those who do not stay within the boundaries of the race lanes will also be disqualified.

The race starts at 3 p.m. and after the winners have been announced, there will be an afterparty near the finish zone, at Termag Hotel’s Koliba. All contestants and visitors are invited to attend and entry is free.
