The period from March 21 to March 27 is chock-full of different events, and here we recommend the most interesting ones taking place.

The Days of New Slovenian Film will run from Wednesday to Friday (March 20-22) at Meeting Point Cinema, where you will be able to watch the newest award-winning films from Slovenia.

The Sarajevska Zima (Sarajevo Winter) Festival ends on Thursday, March 21 with a rich program that includes the performance, Shhh, by Armin Ćosić (Art Academy), a Flamenco dance show by Danijela Knežević (Youth Theater), a concert by a jazz orchestra from Budapest (Dom Mladih)….

The International Center for Children and Youth in Grbavica will mark World Poetry Day (March 21) with a promotion of the book, Harbor of Feelings, which has poems by BiH writers.

On Thursday, the Red Bull RapLika Hip Hop Night Vol. 4 will be held at Underground, which will see a performance by guests from Belgium – Gloria Boateng and Nephtys; Maysia will represent BiH, and DJ Soul is in charge of the warm up and after-party.

Thirteen restaurants from BiH will participate in A Taste of France (March 21), an event that enjoys worldwide popularity and celebrates French cooking. Participating restaurants include Sarajevo’s own Druga KućaPlava Prizma (Radon Plaza Hotel), Mrvica, The Fusion (Swissotel), Brasserie (Novotel Bristol) and MGallery by Sofitel.

The exhibit, Blue Artism, will open at the National Gallery of BiH on Friday, March 22 and will be available for viewing until April 2.

Neno Belan of Croatia will be accompanied by Fiumens when he plays at Aquarius Vils on Friday.

Saturday is the perfect day to visit Pionirska Dolina and meet the zoo’s new resident, Nina the Tiger, and youngsters will enjoy the varied program that includes face painting, hanging out with mascots and magicians, balloon modelling, educational workshops….

Football lovers will enjoy the 2020 European Championship pre-qualifying match between BiH and Armenia on Saturday, March 23, when the two teams face off at Grbavica Stadium.

If you like opera, be sure to visit the National Theater on Saturday for the premiere of Puccini’s acclaimed La Boheme, as directed by Ivan Leo Lemo.

Don’t miss the play, Nairuz, at SARTR this Saturday. This project by guitarist Mirza Redžepagić is a fusion of Flamenco, Makama music and Sufi poetry.

From Monday to Friday (March 25-29), Cinema City Multiplex will be hosting the Week of Iranian Film, with masterpieces of Iranian cinematography.
