  • Night life in Sarajevo has lots to offer and the top spot in the BiH capital for rock and roll fans is Underground Club. Located in the center of town, on Maršala Tita 45, Underground is known for its concerts and outstanding live music. The club first opened its doors in 2011.

Underground stands apart from other clubs in Sarajevo because they only play rock music and the interior, down in the basement of the HKD Napredak Palace, is also unique and done in an Austro-Hungarian style.

Sarajevo cover bands regularly perform here and rock and roll stars from BiH and the region often give concerts.

The club has its own “house band”, the popular Undergrounderi, which is made up of major Sarajevan musicians.

Most of the concerts are free and they’re normally held on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

    Happy hour is from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

It has become a tradition for the Sarajevo Rock Fest, the city’s only rock and roll festival, to be held at Underground during the Sarajevo Film Festival.
