The underwater activity club, Explorer, and the Sarajevo Olympic Swimming Pool will be hosting their first underwater exhibition on May 29.
The display will feature work done by fellow club member and diver, Zlatan Hamamdžić, who takes inspiration from the living and non-living elements of the watery depths when creating his metal sculptures and motifs. Visitors may also view an exhibition of photographs and sculpted figures that will be on display elsewhere in the facility.
The aim of the exhibition is to promote diving as a popular recreational activity and sporting discipline and to acquaint beginners with the training process.
Visitors who plan to dive must bring their own equipment to the pool and it will be possible to view the underwater display in several different ways: under the direct supervision and guidance of our divers, by free diving, diving with a mask and oxygen tank or diving in pairs (one diver per visitor). Certified divers may explore on their own.
The exhibit will be open from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
