Ski lifts on Bjelašnica and Jahorina to offer extended working hours

The Olympic Mountains offer various sporting activities during the summer months and, with the large number of tourists and visitors seeking refuge from the heat up on higher elevations, many facilities on Bjelašnica and Igman are offering longer working hours than during the winter.

The ski lifts on Bjelašnica will be working from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., two hours longer than the normal winter schedule.

While individual tickets cost 7KM, group visits must be arranged in advance and a ticket for a group of a minimum of 20 members costs 100KM.

The ski lift on Jahorina will be working from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and only on weekends, but a panoramic ride can be arranged for organized groups during the week.

A ticket for one ride on Jahorina's ski lift is 7KM per person and a daily bike pass costs 15KM (5 rides only for mountain bicyclists). Tickets for organized groups (minimum of 20 people) are 6KM per person.

If the ski lift s required during the week (Monday to Friday), the group must send written notification seven days before the anticipated visit. The cost for using the ski lift is 420KM (up to 70 people).
