Hey, How Does it Sound to You?, Exhibit by Jasenka Kratović

The setting "Hey, How Does it Sound to You?" by Sarajevo journalist, writer and translator Jasenka Kratović implies a visual presentation of a professional translation experience, be it literary translation or professional texts.

The process of translation from one language to another is most commonly seen as a solitary profession, and this exhibition demystifies such an experience of translation, and opens up a space where, apart from the dialogue with the text and author of the text written in the original language, there are a number of persons consulted during the translation processes, and to which the interpreter often questions the famous question - "Hey, How Does it Sound to You?"?
