Ivan Cankar

The main character in the feature-length documentary film is Ivan Cankar, writer. A public intellectual who is never quiet. He likes to quarrel, steer, and spit, albeit for his people.

An eternal rebel, eternally in debt, forever without the money he keeps borrowing, begs for honor, most often for a book that has not yet been written. To get to him, sells his drawings and manuscripts. There is not much money to run on your throat. And here are his women, fictitious and true. He elevates them in literature, despises in his life. He runs way from them, as running away from responsibility. He is responsible only for his fictitious characters.
