Jelena Gavrilovic was born in 1967 in Bela Crkva. Primary and secondary school finished in Novi Sad. She graduated the systematic theology at the Theological Faculty in Osijek. She writes poetry, prose and columns.
She has published two collections of poetry. She lives and works in Belgrade.
