Krida Budaya

A dance troupe founded in 1983 with the aim of preserving Indonesian traditional dance and music. Krida Budaya (Cultural Mission) is a group of traditional dancers and musicians from most of the University of Indonesia.

With their unique sound and passionate performances, they always delight the audience and have for a very short time become one of the most influential dance ensembles in Indonesia. The first foreign tour went away in 1987.

In addition to traditional folklore, their repertoire has expanded in recent years with modern types of dance such as: ballet, jazz, hip-hop and contemporary dance. They have won numerous awards, both in Indonesia and around the world. In a cultural mission, as they call it, they go every two years.

This year he will perform in: Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
