The name of Sarajevo singer Lana Hamza is synonymous with terrific club gigs, a fantastic voice, energetic shows and unique performances of soul, pop, funk, jazz and house hits from local and global scenes.
Having dropped out of music school (where she learned to play the piano) because of the Siege of Sarajevo, she spent a few years in Croatia, Austria and Germany, where she continued with her own music education.
After returning to her hometown of Sarajevo, her first show was in 2003, when she performed with the Sarajevo Philharmonic at the National Theater, and, given her growing interest in club music, she started her own band in 2004.
Lana and her team (which she refers to as her own little music family) – Adis Vuga, Almir Nezić, Jasmin Efendić, Zlatan Pecirep, Valentin Šeremet and Elma Selimović – regularly delight clubgoers in BiH and in neighboring countries.
