Directing and production master class with Conor Horgan, Katie Holly and Ailish Bracken is a part of second Sarajevo Irish Festival, which will, with a rich cultural and entertaining programme run from March 16th to March 18th 2017.
Conor Horgan trained as a photographer before moving into writing and directing film. His most recent film is "The Queen of Ireland", a documentary about Irish national treasure Panti Bliss in the run-up to the marriage equality referendum, which broke the box-office record for an opening weekend for an Irish documentary.
Katie Holly is Managing Director of Blinder Films, where she has produced several award-winning features. A graduate of EAVE, Inside Pictures, was a former Producer on the Move at Cannes, and is a board member of the Irish Film Board and Irish Film Institute.
Ailish Bracken is a producer and line producer. With Blinder Films she has produced several award winning short films, television projects and critically acclaimed feature documentary "The Queen of Ireland". Ailish started her own production company, Against the Grain Films, in 2015 and is currently developing projects for podcast, TV and film.
