Sarajevo Wine Weekend Festival - Spring Edition

Fina degustation represents the best wine labels, which are in the assortment of the company Fina vina d.o.o. and which in the past period received the highest number of points at world and European wine evaluations.

The organizer of the Sarajevo Wine Weekend festival and the director of Fina Vina d.o.o., Amir Beširević, shared with us what awaits us: "The festival will be held at Hotel Bosnia, at the address Kulovića 9, Sarajevo on Friday, 06.07.2024. year from 18:00 to 22:00. Our winemakers, long-term partners, and above all friends, will present their wine labels, which will be a "must have" on the BiH market this season.

Tasting recommendations

Visitors to the festival will have the opportunity to taste the highly awarded extra virgin olive oil "Mate oil" and Istrian truffle products "Zigante", then the gastronomic exhibitors are an indispensable part: Crvena Jabuka gastro market Marindvor, Coloseum Club, Sarajevski kiseljak, Sprind, Mak Zara, Alpino, Đukarić, Franck, and other delicious delicacies of the exhibitors.
Traditionally, after the end of the official part of the festival, the evening will be additionally "spiced up" with entertainment at the Coloseum Club beginning at 10:30 p.m.

Tickets for the festival, which are in limited quantities, can be purchased through the service kupikartu.ba, at all Kupikartu points of sale or on the day of the event itself at Hotel Bosnia. The ticket price is 40.00 KM per person. The registration fee for using a Riedel wine glass is 10.00 KM.

However, the team of Fina Vina d.o.o. with partners: the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Youth Theater Sarajevo did not hide its excitement, because after eight years since the premiere of the documentary film "Terra Magica", we are returning the projection to small screens.

The film is a kind of road-movie shot in Goriške Brdi, Slovenia, which through fantastic photography narrates a warm and intimate story about the creation of wine, about dedication to the land, the sun and viticulture. The documentary is a testimony to the efforts of a few people who, with their passion for the vine and commitment, have brought back to the scene the all-natural production of top quality wines, uncompromisingly sticking to tradition and serving, not ruling, the vineyard.
The main actors of the film are now world-famous winemakers: Marjan Simčič, Aleks Simčič - winery Edi Simčič, Aleš Kristančič - Winery Movia, Stojan Ščurek and Marko Skočaj - winery Dolfo.

The documentary film "Terra Magica" was filmed for almost three years and is the last film work of the deceased director Jura Breceljnik. The film will be shown on June 6, 2024. at 19:00 at the Youth Theater in Sarajevo. Entrance is free.
