Ten Slovenian archives keep about 75 kilometers of archive material. It is an extraordinary richness of the written cultural heritage that dates from the first half of the 9th century to the present.

Do you know about the remains of Carolingian manuscripts from the 9th century? Did you see the oldest archival document on the parchment in Slovenia or the documents of the Counts of Celje? And the statute of the city of Piran from 1307? Is the Collection of privileges of the monastery in Žiča preserved? What does the manuscript of Juraj Dalmatin look like? Who keeps the oldest registries? What taxes were paid by the ancestors of today's Slovenians? How does the official Slovene language from the 16th century sounds like? You will receive answers from this exhibition.
