The Caucasian Chalk Circle is one of the last but also one of the most intriguing pieces of Bertrand Brecht (1898 - 1956).
The expressionist handwriting and circumcision of the Circle, these cruel fairy tales for adults in six images, which bring into play the cultural, intellectual, social, political and all other dimensions of space, is the zeal in which Gruša, a young woman, sacrifices everything to protect an abandoned child in the whirlpool civil war encountering the entire gallery of different characters.
He allows us freedom of form, he asks for satire as a tool that is very responsive and needs our time, but also obliges us to criticize the absolutist authorities, capitalism and of course - the war - because it can not and will not solve one problem, and what for him there are inevitably the sufferings, the sacrifices, immorality, theft and chaos.
