What is Missing

The persons in this performance face great decisions. Two sisters must decide how to cope with the loss of their mother who abandoned them when they were little girls.

A sixteen-year-old young man is making an attempt to escape from a broken home into the adult world, exploring his homosexuality for the first time. His father, suddenly and unwillingly, is forced to question the long-established values.

A young couple about to her married is faced with the unpronounced questions of their relationship. A perspective of a family emerges as a precisely defined fact but also a possibility of personal choice in the moment it breaks under social pressure or inability to face oneself.

All that time, the shadow of Mt Everest looms over the protagonists, some of whom are trying to climb it to find peace and others because they cannot find any other safe space for shelter. Climbing Mt Everest becomes a space of new affirmation, final liberation and of life which is possible only somewhere between reality and fiction, between the desire for freedom and fear, at the very top of the highest mountain in the world.
