Bus services to Bjelašnica, Jahorina and Ravna Planina

With more traffic heading to the Olympic Mountains during the winter holidays and over the school break, public transport providers are adding extra lines to these destinations.

GRAS

As of January 2018, GRAS started providing regular bus services to Jahorina and Bjelašnica. GRAS buses will be running to Bjelašnica throughout the month of January and to Jahorina every weekend of the same month.

SarajevoBjelašnica (every day)

Departure: 9:00 a.m. – from Franje Račkog Street (at the National Museum) to Bjelašnica

Return: 3:30 p.m. – from Bjelašnica to Franje Račkog Street

Fares:

Sarajevo–Bjelašnica: 3.20KM; return ticket: 7.40KM

 

SarajevoJahorina (on the weekend)

Departure: 8:30 a.m. – from Franje Račkog Street (at the National Museum) to Jahorina

Return: 3:00 p.m. – from Jahorina to Franje Račkog Street

Fare:

Sarajevo–Jahorina: Free

 

Centrotrans

During January and February, Centrotrans will be offering buses to Bjelašnica which will follow the same route as regular city buses.

SarajevoBjelašnica (every day)

Departure: 8:30 a.m. – from Vijećnica to Bjelašnica

Return: 4:00 p.m. – from Bjelašnica to Vijećnica

Fares:

Sarajevo–Bjelašnica: one-way ticket for children: 3KM, adults: 5KM; return ticket for children: 5KM, adults: 7KM

 

Centrotrans a.d. East Sarajevo

As of January 2018, Centrotrans a.d. East Sarajevo will be offering two regular city bus lines from East Sarajevo to Jahorina. There will be two bus lines: East Sarajevo Bus Station–Pale–Jahorina and Sokolac Bus Station–Pale–Jahorina.

The Krupac–Pale–Ravna Planina line, which was introduced recently, serves all regular bus stops between Krupac and Pale and the first stop in Pale will be at the student dormitory.

This bus line will offer return trips between these destinations from January 3 until April 15 and will run according to the following schedules:

East SarajevoPaleJahorina (every day)

Departure: 8:20 a.m. – East Sarajevo Bus Station (9:10 a.m.)–Pale Bus Station–Jahorina (Jahorina Hotel)

Return: 3:00 p.m. – Jahorina (Jahorina Hotel)–Pale Bus Station–East Sarajevo Bus Station

Fares:

East Sarajevo–Jahorina: 6KM, return ticket: 10KM

Pale–Jahorina: 3.50KM, return ticket: 6KM

Children who are participants in the free ski program on Jahorina may ride free of charge.

 

Sokolac Bus StationPaleJahorina (every day)

Departure: 7:30 a.m. – Sokolac Bus Station (8:15 a.m.)–Pale Bus Station–Jahorina (Jahorina Hotel)

Return: 3:00 p.m. – Jahorina (Jahorina Hotel)–Pale Bus Station–Sokolac Bus Station

Fares:

Sokolac–Jahorina: 7KM, return ticket: 11KM

Pale–Jahorina: 3.50KM, return ticket: 6KM

Children who are participants in the free ski program on Jahorina may ride free of charge.

 

KrupacPaleRavna Planina:

Krupac–Pale: 7:30 a.m.; 9:15 a.m.; 12:30 p.m.; 2:40 p.m.

Pale–Krupac: 10:00 a.m.; 10:20 a.m.; 1:50 p.m.; 4:30 p.m.

Pale–Ravna Planina: 8:35 a.m.; 9:45 a.m.; 1:30 p.m.; 3:30 p.m.

Ravna Planina–Pale: 8:55 a.m.; 10:05 a.m.; 1:40 p.m.; 4:10 p.m.

Fares:

The cost of a one-way ticket is 4KM and the purchase of a return ticket includes a 20% discount. Tickets are purchased directly from the bus driver.
