Entries will be accepted from Aug. 1 to Sep. 9, 2019 and all Sarajevo citizens and visitors may participate.
Photo categories include:

2. Architecture
3. Nature
4. Tourist attractions
5. Food and drinks
6. Old trades
7. Sarajevo panoramas
Participants should upload photos to their Instagram profiles by using #destinationsarajevo, #mojesarajevo and #mysarajevo.
Photos should then be sent to mojesarajevo@sarajevonavigator.ba, have a minimum resolution of 3000 pixels (lengthwise), and include the name and surname of the photographer, the name of their home city and country, and a short photo description.
The 25 best photographs chosen by our panel of experts will be shown during an exhibit put on display in Hastahana Park in September, and the best of the best will receive valuable prizes awarded in collaboration with Sarajevo Navigator partners.
By participating, entrants agree to the following conditions of participation and rules of the contest:
Photos submitted for entry must be works done by the actual participant, they should not have a watermark, and they must include EXIF Data.
In order to participate, the author is obliged to publish photographs on the social media platform Instagram by using the following three hashtags in the description: #destinationsarajevo, #mojesarajevo and #mysarajevo.
Photos having the following technical characteristics may be sent by e-mail to mojesarajevo@sarajevonavigator.ba:
- a minimum resolution of 3,000 pixels (lengthwise) and a minimum of 90dpi (300 desirable)
- photo format: jpg/jpeg
Photos published on Instagram may have a lower resolution that those sent via e-mail.
Authors participating in the contest may submit photos that have been taken between the period August 1, 2018 and September 9, 2019.
The same author may submit multiple entries.
Citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as foreign citizens who live in Sarajevo or are staying in the BiH capital from August 1, 2018 to September 9, 2019, are free to participate in the contest.
Photographs submitted for entry shall remain the property of the Sarajevo Navigator Foundation, which may use them to promote Destination Sarajevo, without providing any additional compensation; while also promising, whenever possible, to give credit to the author of a photograph every time it is used.
The organizer guarantees that the photographs will not, under any conditions, be sold.
Should the organizer determine that an irregularity has occurred, or that another author’s work has been stolen, the participating author will be disqualified from the remainder of the selection process, or, in the event that an award has been given, it will be revoked and compensation for damages will be sought.
Members of the jury and members of the Sarajevo Navigator editorial staff are prohibited from participating in the contest.
The photo contest runs from August 1, 2019 to September 9, 2019, and the date of the opening for the exhibit where the best photos will be presented will be announced in the 150th “jubilee” issue of the Sarajevo Navigator city guide, which comes out on August 31, 2019.
