This largest residential complex in Sarajevo, almost three centuries old, a valuable national cultural monument for the entire community and the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is closed for the safety of visitors in order to repair the roof structure, courtyard walls, eaves and other segments of this beauty.
The Museum of Sarajevo received funds to repair the roof of a house and other structures whose repair was urgent according to the completed project documentation, and certified design houses for work on the national cultural monument were in charge of the work.
After carrying out the works, the Museum undertook ongoing maintenance works, painting the interior of the house, the exterior walls and the facade of the entire building.
Along with the cleaning, preparation and restoration of the exhibits, the permanent exhibition was refreshed with certain textile exhibits from the tradition of Bosniak culture of living.
