Moving Around Town
The decision of total suspension of public transport in Sarajevo is in effect from March 21. Additionally, the movement of all persons under the age of 18 and over 65 is strictly prohibited.
A decision was also made to ban the movement completely from 8:00 pm to 5:00 am and it will remain in force from March 29 until further notice.
The Sarajevo Taxi Association offers travelers an application for calling a taxi vehicle with an option for contactless payment, thus avoiding contact with the driver and money.
This application monitors the movement of all drivers, and in the event that any driver or passenger is infected with the COVID-19 virus, the Sarajevo Taxi Association can provide the contacts of all passengers who used the vehicle to the relevant authorities.
More than 150 of Sarajevo Taxi vehicles are within this cashless mobile payment system and the customers can use their own phones to pay for the services.

The Youth Film Festival has also formed a team of volunteers to assist people in need with the supply of food, medicines or other necessary necessities.

The humanitarian organization Pomozi.ba has announced to the citizens that it has procured 500,000 surgical masks which the organization will distribute to health institutions and citizens. The way and method of distribution will be announced later.
Food and Hygienic Products
Currently, open-air markets, supermarkets, grocery stores, bakeries and small neighborhood markets are open until 6:30 pm. Chain supermarkets such as Amko Komerc, Bingo, Konzum, Mercator, DM, Robot Center..., are also all open until 6:30 pm.
Although there are no quantitative restrictions on the purchase of certain items per customer, the shop owners and managers urge consumers to optimize their purchases so that everyone in the chain is supplied and to maintain continuity of delivery, as well as to maintain the necessary distance of 1.5 meters between persons.
Shopping Centers
All shops except the supermarket, DM, bakery, pharmacy and basement garage are closed at the BBI Center. The only shops open in BBI Center are Konzum Supermarket (every day from 8 am to 6:30 pm), DM (Monday - Saturday: 9 am to 6:30 pm), Pharmacy Eurovita (Monday - Saturday: 9 am to 6:30 pm; Sunday: 10 am to 6:30 pm), Bonjour Bakery (Monday - Saturday: 8:30 am to 6:30 pm; Sunday: 10 am to 6:30 pm), as well as the paid garage.
Sarajevo City Center is also closing all stores, except Pharmacia Pharmacy (8 am to 6:30 pm), Konzum (8 am to 6:30 pm), DM (10 am to 6:30 pm), Bee Japa store (10 am to 6:30 pm) and Boss dry cleaning and laundry service, all located in the basement (floor -1).
At the Importanne Shopping Center all stores are closed too except paid garage, Konzum Supermarket (8 am to 6:30 pm), Apoteke Sarajevo Pharmacy (Monday - Friday: 9 am - 6:30 pm; weekend: 10 am to 6:30 pm) and Cosmetic Market CM (Monday - Saturday: 9 am to 6:30 pm; Sunday 10 am to 4:30 pm).
Bingo Plus Market at Alta Shopping Center is open Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 6:30 pm and Sundays from 9 am to 4:30 pm, while the pharmacy will operate from Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 6:30 pm.

Currently, the ban does not apply to restaurants that prepare and deliver food, soup kitchens and hotel restaurants serving hotel guests.
