"Friendship Forest" Park is located in the part of town called Sedam Šuma (Seven Forests) - Grdonj, which is situated between Sedrenik and the Barice picnic area.

This modern park covers more than six hectares and, besides offering visitors an overlook with a magnificent view of the city, there are also over 100 different kinds of trees, many facilities and activities for visitors.
Here visitors of all ages can enjoy the well-maintained walking paths, gazebos and covered water fountains, and youngsters can use the playground’s modern equipment.
There is also a small man-made lake with bridges, an amphitheater that can seat 80 visitors, 30 picnic spots, an exercise area with modern equipment, fountains, souvenir shops….
The walking paths are lined with trash receptacles, as well as direction and warning signs; plus the park has plenty of public lighting, video surveillance cameras and parking spaces for 80 vehicles.
Visitors may make use of the masjid and multimedia hall, where visitors will have a chance to watch educational and history documentaries, as well as those that are geared to tourists. There are also historical images of the Sedam Šuma area, where trenches were dug along the first line of defense during the Siege of Sarajevo in the 1990s.
A cafe-restaurant with a terrace is currently under construction, and this facility will be able to accommodate 100 guests. There are also plans for an adrenaline park and many activities for youngsters.
