Fearing in Sarajevo

The movie is an adaptation of the theater piece Fearing's Funhouse which is directed by Christopher Peditoo.

Two years ago, the mentioned project of the Balkan American Theater was shown multiple times, and was warmly welcomed by the audience which inspired the author to develop a movie out of it. The play itself is inspired by poetry of Kenneth Fearing (1902-1961), one of the most significant writers and poets of the American depression. During this period Fearing wrote incredible pieces full of irony, dark humor and satire about the American Dream. Because of the huge success and popularity of the theme, Peditto decided to adapt Fearing's ideas to modern anxiety, digitized society and crisis caused by the supposed necessity of war.
