During the winter, skating is a favorite activity among Sarajevans, especially youngsters.

The Jaffa Ice Skating Rink was set up as part of the 8^th Annual Coca-Cola Sarajevo Holiday Market. Thanks to support from Centar Municipality and Nedžad Ajnadžić, Head of the Municipality, skating will be free to all visitors throughout January and up until February 3.

The Jaffa Ice Skating Rink covers more than 400 m2 and works every day from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Skating sessions last 75 minutes and there is a 15-minute break for the surface to be cleared for the next session.

The rink uses state-of-the-art technology provided by the Austrian company, AST, which makes it possible to skate when temperatures fall to -15˚C. This has made Hastahana the epicenter of winter fun again this year.

During the winter break, the Jaffa Ice Skating Rink will be offering its free Jaffa Skating School, where many Sarajevans and visitors will be able to make their first moves on ice.
