Međugorje, one of the most famous Marian apparition sites in the world, attracts large numbers of tourists and is not far from Mostar.
Every year, Međugorje is visited by about one million Catholics from all over the world. A large number of them arrive via the low-cost airline, Mistral Air, which is based in Rome and offers charter flights between Mostar and cities in Italy.
Transport
The airport is a 15-minute drive from the center of Mostar and it is possible to come with public transport or taxi. Shuttle services can also be arranged.
