Tuzla Airport

Tuzla International Airport (IATA code: TZL and ICAO code: LQTZ) is located 16 kilometers from Tuzla, a city in Northeast BiH that is a two-hour drive from Sarajevo.

Wizz Air started offering flights from this airport in 2013 and Tuzla International Airport became a hub for this airline company in 2015.

Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline company in Central and Eastern Europe, now connects Tuzla with 17 destinations in eight European countries.

In addition to the Wizz Air flights, the airport also offers charter flights to Antalya.

The working hours for the Wizz Air ticket office are 4:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. every day.

Transport

It is possible to reach the Tuzla International Airport by using city transportation, taxis or Hvala.ba, a Wizz Air partner agency whose services can be accessed by visiting www.hvala.ba. This agency connects the airport with all of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Facilities

There is a restaurant and cafe bar in the arrivals terminal, as well as near the exit of the passenger terminal. The working hours for these facilities coincide with those of the airport.  

The Duty Free Shop is located in the departure area, immediately after passport control. The shop’s working hours are tied to the schedule for departing flights.

There are a few rent-a-car offices at the airport, as well as an exchange office.
