Winter and Spring Events

The upcoming winter and spring seasons in Sarajevo are filled with exciting events and activities.

Winter on Vilson's Promenade offers fun for all generations, with daily afternoon and evening performances running until January 25th. The Old Town Fairytale event runs until January 10th, featuring performances in front of the Cathedral, along Ferhadija Street, and on Trg Oslobođenja.

Winter on Ilidža lasts until March 1st at Veliki Park, where pop-up light installations from the Sarajevo Light Festival will illuminate several locations across the city until early March.

December is bustling with events, with Zoster (December 27th) and Brkovi (December 28th) performing at Dom Mladih, while the BKC hosts unplugged concerts by Zabranjeno Pušenje for their Neuštekani project (December 27th and 28th) and Marija Šerifović at Zetra (December 28th).

Branko Đurić – Đuro will bring his stand-up show “Đurologija” to Hotel Hills on December 27th, followed by Dragan Marinković – Maca with Kakva ti je žena, takav ti je život” on December 28th. Sarajevo Big Band will perform at BKC on December 29th, paying tribute to Bijelo Dugme, Ambasadori, and Zdravko Čolić.

For the New Year's Eve public celebration in front of Eternal Flame, Sara Jo, After Affair, and DJ Topic will perform on December 30th, while Adi Šoše and Severina will headline on December 31st. The Sarajevo Philharmonic traditionally hosts a New Years Concert at the National Theater on December 31st.

January kicks off with Nina Badrić, with the warm-up act Radio Vrijeme, at Trg Prve brigade policije (January 2nd) and Bajaga & Instruktori (January 3rd) alongside their opening act, Zračna Kontrola. Prljavo Kazalište will perform with Nindže iz Haustora (January 4th).

Enis Bešlagić will stage "Da sam ja neko" at BKC on January 3rd and 4th, while Peđa Bajović will bring his stand-up show Najbolji sat i kusur” to the same venue on January 24th.

From December 24th to March 1st, the Bjelašnica Winter Fest takes place, culminating with the FIS Europa Cup ski competition on February 16th and 17th. Benneton will host performances by Neno Murić, Berin Buturović, Adi Šoše, Marko Louis, and Armin Bijedić throughout January and February, while Hotel Nomad will feature live music every Friday and Saturday.

At Hotel Vučko on Jahorina, Alen Islamović (December 21st), Jelena Rozga (January 25th), Gibonni (January 31st), Aca Pejović (February 8th), and Saša Matić (February 15th) will perform, while Lavina and Termag hotels also offer excellent live music.

The band Crvena Jabuka will kick off their 40th anniversary tour with a concert at Zetra on January 25th. In the same venue, performances by Lexington Band are scheduled for February 14th, and Milica Pavlović for March 8th.

The Sarajevo Olympic Week from February 15th to 23rd brings a range of exciting sports and cultural events.

On March 1st, Maja Milinković will perform "Fadolinka" at the Church of the Holy Trinity.

From March 1st to 29th, the Ramadan celebrations will take place under the Feel the Spirit of Ramadan” banner, featuring a variety of religious and cultural activities.

On April 3rd, the legendary group Tito & Tarantula will perform their Brincamos! Tour at Dom Mladih.

In April, Sarajevo will host numerous events celebrating the citys Day (April 6th), while May brings the Days of Canton Sarajevo (May 2nd – 9th).
