The restaurant’s menu features plenty of BiH and international specialties, with an accent on meat specialties, as well as organic products. Beginning in early spring, guests can enjoy some fish straight from the on-site fish farm, as well as spit-roasted lamb on the weekends.
The rustic style of the interior gives the restaurant a pleasant ambience, and on warm days you will be looking for a spot in the spacious outdoor seating area, which is surrounded by greenery and has a murmuring brook. There is also a small lake next to the restaurant that has a rowboat, which you can use to catch fish with your own gear.
This facility’s nickname comes from the pet monkey, which serves as a real attraction for youngsters, and, besides the monkey, there is also a little menagerie of local wildlife that guests can spend some time with.
Lovački Dom “Kod Majmuna” is located in the Sarajevo neighborhood called Nahorevo, and this peaceful oasis is all of 10- or 15-minute ride from the city center.
