Yu Cafe is located on Mala Aleja, the central promenade in Sarajevo's suburb, Ilidža, next to 28 Mala Aleja St. It’s an ideal place for those who are looking for a nice little nook in Ilidža to drink their daily coffee, as well as for those who are keen to have an energetic evening out.
Actually, Yu Cafe is a thematic cafe inspired by the golden times of former Yugoslavia. The cafe is just like a small museum and wherever you turn, you’ll find some interesting detail among the photos, flags, plaques, badges, musical instruments... that is a reminder of our country as it used to be. Some of these items are real treasures that have their own interesting stories to tell.
When it comes to music, Yu Cafe plays jazz, rock ‘n’ roll and top ex-Yu hits. Visitors can often "stumble upon" some excellent live music and, besides the standard cover bands, Yu Cafe has also hosted some of BiH’s rock 'n' roll stars, like Mladen Vojičić Tifa, Irina Kapetanovic and the bands, Zoster, Bolero....
