This August in Sarajevo, you can expect warm weather and plenty of cultural events, and Sarajevo Film Festival is one of them. As one of the most important film events in Europe, this annual festival brings hundreds of film professionals to Sarajevo, as well as many thousands who love “the Seventh Art”.

There are so many events taking place around town during the nine days of the Film Festival that it gives one the impression that Sarajevo never sleeps during this period!

We recommend a visit to the Historical Museum of BiH, where you can view interesting exhibits. Enjoy a refreshing break at Café Tito, which has tons of memorabilia on display which honor the legendary Partisan Commander and founder of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia – Josip Broz “Tito”.

Nature lovers should visit the 98-meter high Skakavac (Grasshopper) Waterfall, which is only 12 km from the center of town.
