Nermina Alić is probably the only woman in „čaršija“ dealing within „men's“ business. Coppersmith and tinsmith crafts she learned from her father Hadžan Alić. In the year 2007, she overtaken the shop and has continued the family tradition.
As a young girl, Nermina used to come into the shop and for a decade helped her father thus gathering, little by little, the secrets of coppersmith craft. She completed The School of Applied Arts at the Department of Metal shaping and actually is about to graduate at Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo – Department for Sculpture.
Instead of “Kazandžiluk”, the shop at Kovači has been located for two hundred years when one of the far ancestors moved from “Kazandžiluk” after the big fire.
