  • The 22 International Music Festival - Jazz Fest Sarajevo will be held from November 2 to 4. According to festival organizers, this will be the final edition of the event.

Jazz Fest Sarajevo was founded in 1997 with the aim of popularizing jazz, and over the years it has been a place where audiences have encountered major musicians from domestic and international music scenes, and it has organized a range of educational programs and workshops.

This year, the main festival program has been preceded by concerts from The Stone in Europe Series, as performed throughout Europe, showcasing some of the best musicians from the New York downtown scene.

The 2018 Jazz Fest will see concerts at Dom Policije and SARTR that complete the John Zorn in Sarajevo trilogy, with shows by 16 ensembles performing works by one of America’s leading composers; and the Late Nite Stage club venue will be running its program at Jazzbina (Nov. 1-3).

To date, more than 600 artists have performed at this event, including greats like: Dave Holland, Dhafer Joussef, Merchan Dede, Dianne Reeves, Gregory Porter and many others.
