BiH visas no longer required by citizens of China

The People’s Republic of China and Bosnia and Herzegovina have signed a mutual agreement on the abolishment of visa regimes between their two countries. The agreement goes into effect on May 29, 2018, and applies to those carrying ordinary passports.

This agreement was signed in order to allow citizens of both countries to enter and stay in the territory of the other country for 90 days without requiring a visa.

This is sure to ease cultural and commercial-economic cooperation, as well as boost the number of Chinese tourists visiting Sarajevo.

Last year alone (2017), destination Sarajevo was visited by approximately 16,000 Chinese tourists, and the number is expected to be much higher this year.
