"Days of Jurislav Korenić" Festival postponed to March 2021

The fifth edition of the international theater festival named after the founder of Chamber Theater 55 will not be held from December 14 to 21 due to the pandemic.

The Chamber Theater 55 has postponed the festival to March 2021, i.e. the period from March 1 to 8, and those in love with theatrical art will have the opportunity to see the great performances that were supposed to make up the program of this year's festival:

  • Theater for Beginners (Vedran Fajković), directed by Admir Glamočak, Chamber Theater 55 Sarajevo – Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • In the Name of Identity (Amir Maalouf), directed by Tanja Miletić Oručević, Croatian National Theatre in Mostar and Mostar National Theatre - Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • Three Sisters (A.P. Chekhov), directed by Bobo Jelčić, Croatian National Theatre Zagreb – Croatia
  • Petra (R. Lorc), directed by Irfan Mensur, National Theater of Timok Krajina "Zoran Radmilović" Zaječar - Srbija
  • The Bereaved Family (Branislav Nušić), directed by Nikola Pejaković, Narodno pozorište Republike Srpske Banja Luka - Bosna i Hercegovina
  • Don Quijote (M. Cervantes), directed by Andraš Urban, City Theater Podgorica - Montenegro
  • The Gin Game (Donald Lee Coburn), directed by Violeta Džoleva, Drama Theater Skopje - Northern Macedonia

The positive news is that the new play "Theater for Beginners" by Vedran Fajković, directed by Admir Glamočak, will be premiered on December 18, and those interested will also be able to see it on December 19 and 20. The play casts are Tatjana Šojić, Muhamed Hadžović, Sabit Sejdinović, Saša Krmpotić and Anja Kraljević.
