The most important museum institution in our country, officially opens the permanent exhibit "Bosnia and Herzegovina in prehistoric times"
The opening of this permanent exhibit also marks the completion of the process of post-war renovation of the permanent exhibition spaces of the Department of Archeology of the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The prehistoric collection of the museum is one of the largest and oldest in this region, and has more than 100,000 items, of which about 3,000 have been chosen for this permanent exhibit. was not available to the public. It was first presented back in 1913, when the new buildings of the Museum were opened, and since 1992 it has not been available to the public.
