Exclusive online premiere of the film by Jasmila Žbanić

The new film by Jasmila Žbanić, "Quo Vadis, Aida?", will be screened exclusively online starting tonight from 8 PM on the platform ondemand.kinomeetingpoint.ba.

The plot of the movie "Quo Vadis, Aida?" takes place in Bosnia in July 1995. Aida is a translator for the United Nations in the small town of Srebrenica. When the Serbian army takes over the town, her family is among the thousands of citizens looking for shelter in the UN camp. As an insider to the negotiations Aida has access to crucial information that she needs to interpret. What is at the horizon for her family and people – rescue or death? Which move should she take?    

Cast: Jasna Đuričić, Izudin Bajrović, Boris Ler, Dino Bajrović, Raymond Thiry, Johan Heldenbergh, Boris Isaković, Emir Hadžihafizbegović, Edita Malovčić.

Awards: The film won the Golden Atlas for Best Film at the 21st Arras Film Festival in Paris, the Best Film and Best Actress Award (Jasna Đuričić) at the El Gouna Festival in Egypt and the Best Foreign Film Award at the Antalya Film Festival (Turkey). It had its world premiere in the competition program of the Venice Film Festival, after which it was shown at the Toronto Film Festival.
