It’s certain that the 1,200 meters of excellent ski lanes will soon be attracting a large number of visitors from the entire region.
Also, starting next year, the slopes will be supplied with artificial snow, allowing skiers to enjoy themselves, regardless of weather conditions.
The ski lanes will also be well lit, making them fully ready to host large ski competitions.
The Gornje Pale-Ravna Planina Ski Area is part of the Gondola “Jahorina Express” Project, which will connect Pale with Mt. Ravna and Mt. Jahorina and have a total lift capacity of 1,000 guests per hour.
In addition to the construction of Gondola Restaurant, there are also plans to realize the “Ćiro” Project, which aims to connect the ski areas on Pale with Sarajevo by way of a narrow railway line that once passed through these parts and runs between Sarajevo and Eastern BiH.
Gornje Pale-Ravna Planina Ski Area Now Open
The new Gornje Pale-Ravna Planina Ski Area recently had its official opening. Located in the village of Gornje Pale, it is about 20 kilometers from Sarajevo and three kilometers from the center of Pale (on the M5 highway, in the direction of Podgrab).
