From 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., there will be an educational-entertainment workshop (for children ages 12 to 15), Dare to Find the Flying Fox. In order to find the flying fox hidden in the darkest corners of the museum, you have to solve all of the riddles of the magical Botanical Garden, while avoiding poisonous plants and dangerous animals. Help will be provided by the museum witch, the mummy from the museum basement and the Joker.
There will also be drama-entertainment workshops by the Helen O’Grady Academy: Haunted House and Witches from Macbeth.
If you don’t manage to come to the museum with your own mask on Halloween night, makeup artist Majda Dobrnjić will be doing face painting for all participants as part of the Scary Face Painting workshop.
At 8:30 p.m., during the opening of the exhibit, Fear Lies in Ignorance, you’ll have a chance to see the museum’s creepiest items: human skulls, live animals, including: the Madagascar hissing cockroach, Brazilian bird-eating spider, four-lined snake, European cat snake, European green lizard, European glass lizard, common toad, common European viper, smooth snake, horned viper, fruit bat…, and you’ll hear some secret stories, folk tales about supernatural beings, curses and various dangers.
Admission to this museum event (which runs from 7:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.) is 2KM.
You may visit the museum’s Facebook page to send your RSVP to the @zemaljskimuzej inbox.
