Nobel Laureate Orhan Pamuk to visit Sarajevo

One of the most acclaimed international writers, Turkish Nobel Laureate Orhan Pamuk, is coming to Sarajevo on June 25 at the invitation of the publishing house, Buybook.


That day, there will be a public conversation with the author, where he will discuss all of his written works. The following day (June 26), Pamuk will attend the premiere of the play, Snow, at the National Theater. The play is directed by Dino Mustafić and is based on Pamuk’s novel of the same name.

This award-winning author received the 2006 Nobel Prize in Literature, his works have been translated into 62 of the world’s languages, and his books, My Name is Red and Snow, have become the most translated works of Turkish literature.
