Half a kilometer of the cave’s canal system has been prepared, lighting installation for the whole interior is currently underway, and the parking lot in front of the cave will soon be paved in asphalt.

Orlovača is open for visits from Tuesday to Saturday – at 9:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. The cost of admission ranges from 2KM to 4KM.

As one of the loveliest caves in BiH, with its stalagmites, stalactites and halactities, Orlovača is a speleological formation that was home to cave bears (a distant ancestor of the brown bear) 16,000 years ago, and is a habitat for bats – the most endangered group of mammals in Europe.
