The ZUP Baščaršija stall offers traditional handicrafts, as well as lovely creations by BiH artists, Aleksandra Nina Knežević, Ljilja and Mireldy.
Those who love healthy food, medicinal herbs and locally-produced honey will be able to find a whole range of lovely items at the Medeno Carstvo, Bee Japa, Pčelarstvo Duranović and Zdravlje iz Božije Bašte stalls.
The Lamaruž and Alma Derm stalls are ideal for purchasing some hand-made soaps and natural cosmetics, and those who visit stalls for Sarajevo's formidable football clubs, FK Željezničar and FK Sarajevo, can pick up some jerseys, sweatshirt jackets, scarves, patches, flags....
Moa Moa, Neki Nakit, Domino Design and Anita Anita, all of which produce hand-made jewelry, ladies' handbags, etc., will also be displaying their varied assortment of items in front of BBI Center.
Ruby Red and Werkstatt will have a stall featuring original items with drawings by a five-year old girl named Ruby, as well as fine metal jewelry. The creative team, RuKom, will again be presenting their “ruKomtvorine” – both smaller and larger designed items, including scarves, pins, brooches, special bags with printed designs….
If you happen to be looking for handbags made from “eco-leather” or real leather, then the Lovely Bags stall is the perfect spot for you, while the items available at the BS-Kobra stall show that it really is “one of the most popular producers of leather and leather goods in BiH”.
The bookshops, Zoro and Ilum, are perfect for those who enjoy a good read; those who love paintings and decoupage should visit the Bostan Art and Art Design stalls; and organic fruits, vegetables, pasta and other healthy foods can be found at the Fress by Krompir.ba stall.
Visitors can stop by any of the stalls at the Sarajevo Summer Market every day, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and the hours will be extended until 11:00 p.m. while the Sarajevo Film Festival is going on (August 12 to 20).
The idea for the Sarajevo Summer Market, the aim of which is to make the tourist offering for Destination Sarajevo more complete, was submitted by ZUP Baščaršija and the Sarajevo Navigator Foundation and this year’s edition is made possible with support from the City of Sarajevo and the Mayor of Sarajevo, Dr. Ivo Komšić.
