The two-hour tour is limited to 20 primary-school-age children, as well as to freshmen and sophomores in high school. Parents are also welcome to serve as chaperons.
While the tour is offered daily in English for tourists starting at 4:30 p.m., the tour designed for children will start at 11:45 a.m. on Thursdays and Saturdays during the January school break and the aim is for the Saturday tours to remain on offer all year round.
The tour starts in front of Sarajevo Insider (Zelenih Beretki 30) and continues by crossing Latin Bridge and Emperor’s Bridge, then moves on to Vijećnica and Kazandžiluk St., then from Sebilj to Brusa Bezistan, where there is a break for tea. The tour resumes with a tour of Morića Han, Bey’s Mosque, Synagogue, Cathedral and Saborna Church and comes to an end at Trg Oslobođenje.
Parents may reserve a place for children or students a day before the tour is to be held by contacting Insider at 033 534 353 or info@sarajevoinsider.com.
