During the month of September, 79,120 passengers passed through the Sarajevo International Airport, an 11% increase over September 2014.
The airport's administration plans to install faster connecting roller units and to enlarge the platforms, measures which would help to further boost the number of passengers and freight that could be accommodated.
There are also plans to introduce a third working shift, which would allow low-cost airlines to land. Great interest has been shown in such airline companies for quite some time.
