Australian diver Rhiannan Iffland is a three-time Red Bull Cliff Diving champion. She recently received a gold medal during the world cup in South Korea, and is currently the 2019 ranking leader, while Mexican Jonathan Paredes was the winner of the 2017 Red Bull Cliff Diving event. He took bronze at the world cup in South Korea, won the very first Red Bull Cliff Diving in Mostar and is currently in second place in world rankings.
While participating, Iffland and Paredes will also announce the Red Bull Cliff Diving competition, which is set for August 24 in Mostar, as part of the next to last event for the 2019 Red Bull Cliff Diving World Cup.
This year’s manifestation in Sarajevo will include cliff diving and performance diving, in accordance with similar rules used during the World Cup (Cliff Diving World Series), as well as during traditional diving competitions. The diving platform will be placed at a height exceeding that used in earlier years.
The most successful divers from Slovenia, Serbia, Montenegro, Denmark, Germany and BiH…have already reserved their places.
The 2019 Bentbaša Cliff Diving jumps will begin on Saturday, August 3 at 2:00 p.m. at Sarajevo’s Bentbaša, and, from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., those in attendance will be able to enjoy the open air closing party, with a show by DJ duo After Affair.
