Sarajevo Airport will be open for commercial flights from June 1

After a two-month shutdown caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, Sarajevo International Airport will resume commercial flights on June 1.

The first passengers are due to arrive at Sarajevo Airport in the morning of June 1 from Riyadh, Jeddah and Antalya, on FlyBosnia Airways, a domestic carrier and Saudi Arabian Flynas.

On the same day, outgoing flights to Antalya, Riyadh, Jeddah and Kuwait are planned, and from the following day to Doha, Saudi Qassim, Omani Muscat, Budapest, Belgrade ...

From June 5, flights to Dubai will be re-activated, while scheduled flights to Munich and Vienna will resume after June 15.

In the first half of June, Air Serbia plans to have two flights a week on the route Belgrade - Sarajevo, while from the second half of the month it plans to have six flights a week.

According to current announcements, Turkish Airlines should establish flights from Istanbul to Sarajevo in the middle of the month, and Croatia Airlines should start flights by the end of June on the route Zagreb - Sarajevo.

Passengers will be required to respect physical distance and wear masks at the airport.
