The station will be available for hotel guests only and offers two Mode 3 Type 2 connectors for use with electric vehicles, which are in accordance with the European Directive.

The charging station works on the principal of electric energy and consumption is determined by mileage, so two to three KMs’-worth of charging will allow one to travel 100 kilometers.

Electric cars move by use of an electric motor that uses electric energy generated in an accumulator or other device, and the ride in such a vehicle is smooth, without the vibration and noise that is so prominent in diesel cars.

Interest in such vehicles began to grow in the early 2000s with the rise of oil prices and the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
