This manifestation got underway in the evening with some live music at the Carlsberg Beer Garden, the covered venue which will see performances by musicians every evening starting at 9:00 p.m. Repertoires will include easy listening, BiH and international music, pop, rock, blues and jazz, and during the day the garden will serve as the site where many other fun programs will be organized.

During the manifestation’s first ten days, a large fun park will be set up, offering fun activities for youngsters.

A sand volleyball court will be installed next to Hastahana's existing basketball court, and after the fun park leaves, a futsal arena with artificial grass will be installed, where a free futsal summer school will be held for children.

Repairs are being made to the installations in Skate Park, which will be completely redone; things have been cleared and sifted from the sand pits, and the existing Ciciban Playground will be renovated in the coming days.

A little wooden house will also be set up in Hastahana Park for the children’s play area, where interesting and educational activities for kids will be organized every day.

The Coca-Cola Summer Cinema, which will start working in the park at the beginning of July, is where those who love the “seventh art” can enjoy some classic films beneath an open sky on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

There are plans for this event – which is set to offer all kinds of interesting activities for all ages for more than three months – to run until September 23, the last day of summer.

Summer in the Park – Hastahana is organized by the Consortium for the Development of Destination Sarajevo, which comprises Sarajevo Navigator Foundation and ZUP Baščaršija, and has the support of numerous partners and sponsors.
